About The Position

Don's Garage, an affiliate of A1 Garage Door, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle Annual Maintenance Club Tune Ups. The company provides comprehensive training, so no previous experience with garage doors is required. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, enjoys problem-solving, and can work autonomously. Previous experience in repairs and maintenance within the home service industry, manufacturing, or automotive sectors is a plus.

Requirements

Ability to be nice and professional
Able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for long periods
Physically able to lift 50lbs
Valid driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug test (not including THC) and criminal background check
Knowledge of basic software (navigation apps, Google) and tablet/computer use
Basic knowledge of hand tools
Reading skills and basic math skills (measurements, payments) are required
Professional appearance
Current eligibility to legally work in the United States

Responsibilities

Handling Annual Maintenance Club Tune Ups
Completing garage door inspections, following a checklist
Handling call back visits
Turning negative customer experiences into positive ones
Educating customers on their garage doors and inspection findings
Receiving POs for the warehouse and updating inventory with exact counts
Assisting the Area Manager or Market Lead with load outs for technicians and installers
Maintaining physical counts in the warehouse and updating inventory
