About The Position

PLZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs at its manufacturing facilities. The role involves maintaining critical production equipment and supporting general facility upkeep. The technician must be flexible in responding to urgent maintenance needs, contribute to continuous improvement efforts, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The scheduled shift is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Proactive approach to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
• Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Execute and document preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Diagnose and resolve issues with pumps, air compressors, boilers, heat exchangers, and agitators.
• Support facility upkeep, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and structural maintenance.
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs.
• Support continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
