About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in a fast-paced cargo trailer manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in keeping equipment, tools, and the facility running efficiently and safely. We are looking for someone who is reliable, eager to learn, and ready to work each day.

Requirements

  • Basic maintenance or mechanical experience preferred
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality are required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High School Diploma / GED, or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities in directly job-related experiences.
  • Possess good physical stamina and coordination with the ability to safely lift 80 pounds with prolonged periods of standing.
  • Able to work 10-hour shifts with potential overtime.
  • Willing to submit a pre-employment background check.
  • Able to work in a self-directed way to manage multiple demands of time and attention in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with building maintenance such as drywall repair, minor plumbing, or general facility upkeep is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license preferred for parts pick-up responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily equipment and facility checklists
  • Complete minor repairs and preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Repair and maintain hand tools such as drills and other shop equipment
  • Check and maintain pumps for roof jig and paint department operations
  • Assist with building and lot maintenance
  • Pick up and deliver parts and supplies as needed
  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues throughout the facility
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Support production teams with maintenance-related needs
  • Ensure your own safety by always using designated personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools designed and rated for the task, complying with safety regulations, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Report to work on time to support production startup and throughput goals.
  • Operate all power tools and machinery effectively and respectfully.
  • Read and understand work orders and work instructions.
  • Perform daily inspections on equipment prior to shift startup to ensure the safety of you and your coworkers, as well as the operational effectiveness of equipment.
  • Assist in other areas and perform other duties, as needed.
