About The Position

National Church Residences is seeking Maintenance Technicians to support its vision of advancing better living and care for seniors. The role serves Brandywine Apartments and Eastpointe Station in Richardson and Garland, Texas. It involves routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing building issues, maintaining common areas, completing general repairs, and managing maintenance records and inventory. The position requires 24/7 on-call availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, for maintenance emergencies. A $60 monthly mobile phone allowance is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of residential or apartment maintenance experience required.
Skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

Technical or vocational training preferred.
Relevant certifications, such as HVAC or OSHA certifications, are a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
Diagnose and repair maintenance issues in a timely manner.
Maintain interior and exterior common areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
Complete minor carpentry, painting, appliance, and general repairs.
Supervise and mentor junior maintenance staff, when applicable.
Manage inventory and submit maintenance records and reports.
Comply with all safety regulations and building codes.
Respond to maintenance emergencies while on call.
