Requirements

  • Industrial maintenance experience with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working with instrumentation and control systems.
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, lift 50 lbs, and safely perform confined-space entry.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and environmental regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer systems.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to lead problem-solving or group discussions.

Nice To Haves

  • A.A. degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or a related technical field.
  • Experience in system design, equipment construction, or implementing engineering improvements.
  • SAP experience for maintenance data entry and parts tracking.
  • Demonstrated success supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with both wet process and spray dry equipment systems.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace equipment used in wet processing and spray dry production facilities.
  • Maintain critical utility systems, including water, air, steam, chilled water, glycol cooling systems, and associated equipment.
  • Interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, schematics, and equipment documentation for pumps, valves, motors, agitators, chillers, and air compressors.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on three-phase and single-phase systems, control circuits, motors, switches, brakes, and gearboxes.
  • Support problem-solving activities such as root-cause analysis, system design, and equipment modifications.
  • Document labor hours, parts usage, and detailed maintenance comments in SAP.
  • Provide support beyond core work areas to drive plant-wide improvements and operational reliability.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through personal accountability, safe work behaviors, and integrity.
