About The Position

Aeon is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support The Rose, The Jourdain, Pine Cliff, and The Wellstone, a four-building community of 210 affordable and market-rate apartment homes in South Minneapolis. This full-time, in-person position has a Monday–Friday schedule and no on-call responsibilities. The Maintenance Technician helps ensure residents’ homes and shared spaces are safe, functional, and well maintained through responsive repairs, preventative maintenance, apartment turnovers, and daily property upkeep. The role works closely with the Property Manager, Building Technicians, vendors, and other team members. It is suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, takes pride in quality workmanship, values customer service, and wants to contribute to a well-maintained community. The position reports to the Senior Property Manager. The schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Flexibility may occasionally be needed for resident events, community activities, meetings, or other property responsibilities. Work is based at the assigned property, with occasional work at Aeon’s Central Office, training facilities, or other properties. The position pays $26–$30 per hour, depending on experience and skill set. Candidates must hold or be able to obtain a Special Boiler’s License within the first six months; Aeon supports obtaining the certification through training and/or payment of applicable fees.
