Requirements
- Proven experience with mechanical knowledge and general maintenance tasks
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other landscaping equipment safely
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects and operating machinery for extended periods
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, structures, and grounds
- Complete work orders for guest rooms and adjacent areas throughout facility
- Complete preventative maintenance routines per assigned floor
- Complete regular pool chemical level checks
- Conduct lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and fertilizing
- Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other machinery safely and effectively
- Ensure proper watering of landscaped areas, parking lot maintenance, and clear sidewalks snow during winter months to keep pathways clear
- Communicate with department and hotel leadership on work orders issues, delays, and suggestions for improvement.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities
