About The Position

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the Canad standards relating to maintenance are met or exceeded, including required repairs and housekeeping of your Canad Inns property. The Manager will comply with all standards and provide ongoing updates to the General Manager of the facility and the Corporate Facilities Management team. This description is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be changed or additional duties added as necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, equipment, and processes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools.

Nice To Haves

• A Journeyman certification in HVAC or Plumbing is a valuable asset
• CPO certification will be required

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing maintenance strategies for the department to include facility preventive maintenance schedule, property inspections, and property improvement requests.
• Ensures adherence to the Canad Inns standards of maintenance quality, repairs, and upkeep.
• Inspects and ensures safety controls and facility equipment on an on-going basis.
• Coordinates the inventory, purchasing and disbursement of all maintenance supplies.
• Assures proper staffing and adequate supplies for including leadership and development of team
• Maintain timely and accurate work order completion by technicians to include on-the-job training and coaching
• Ensures compliance with all health and safety regulatory policies and guidelines.
