PDM's Manufacturing facility operates 24/7, and we're looking for a Maintenance Technician to ensure that our production lines remain efficient, safe, and reliable. This hands-on position requires expertise in both electrical and mechanical systems. PDM is a leader in the HVAC industry with nearly 50 years of experience. Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control logic systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with hands-on experience working on high-speed manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also contributing to the team's success.
  • Flexibility to work shifts when needed, and availability for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts as required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification preferred
  • OSHA 30 certification is required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot a variety of manufacturing systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repair, and rebuilds to minimize downtime and ensure efficient operation.
  • Optimize machine performance through troubleshooting and advanced problem-solving techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance machinery performance, increase product yield, and ensure high-quality output.
  • Participate in machinery startups, shutdowns, and preventive maintenance while adhering to safety standards.
  • Use your technical knowledge to provide feedback and suggest improvements for ongoing operations.
  • Ensure exemplary housekeeping and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
