About The Position

MCC is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Electrician to maintain and repair production equipment and facilities. The role ensures that electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshoots unscheduled equipment downtime, and completes repairs and preventive maintenance. Work takes place in a multi-shift production environment and supports optimized production through Lean Manufacturing and 5S practices.

Requirements

• One or more years of demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic applications.
• Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.
• Ability to multitask and identify and execute process improvements as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and a vocational maintenance training certificate are preferred.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including frequent walking and regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and machines.
• Maintain and perform repairs to the facility.
• Support an optimized production environment by applying Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current.
