About The Position

LHP is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Imperial Garden Apartments, a 300-unit affordable multifamily property in Smyrna, Tennessee. The technician works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager to help keep the apartment community safe, clean, and welcoming. The role supports day-to-day maintenance, including completing work orders, assisting with apartment turns, maintaining curb appeal, and helping with special projects. The technician shares an on-call rotation with the maintenance team and uses skills in HVAC, painting, plumbing, appliance repair, electrical work, carpentry, and custodial work.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to train, coach, and guide other maintenance personnel.
• Ability to participate in shared on-call coverage with other maintenance staff.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including navigating multi-level environments via stairs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous apartment maintenance experience is preferred.
• HVAC certification or a related certification, such as EPA certification.
