Maintenance Supervisor- Imperial Garden Apartments
About The Position
The Maintenance Supervisor leads maintenance operations at Imperial Garden Apartments, a 300-unit affordable multifamily property in Smyrna, Tennessee. This hands-on leadership role sets standards for quality, safety, and accountability while balancing planning, execution, and team support. The supervisor oversees work orders, apartment turns, curb appeal, and ongoing maintenance projects, and provides guidance and direction to Maintenance Technicians and applicable Custodial team members. The role includes participation in a shared on-call rotation based on property size and location. The supervisor applies technical expertise in painting, drywall, plumbing, appliance repair, electrical work, HVAC, and general repairs to keep the community well maintained and operating efficiently.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to train, coach, and guide other maintenance personnel.
- Participation in shared on-call coverage with other maintenance staff is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous apartment maintenance experience is preferred.
- HVAC certification or related certifications, such as EPA, are a plus; the company is willing to train the right candidate.
