About The Position
We are looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and experienced in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience servicing motors, conveyors, pumps, valves, gearboxes, bearings, drives, and production equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Reliable with excellent attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work overtime and respond to emergency maintenance needs when required.
Nice To Haves
- Basic PLC troubleshooting experience is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely, effective repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and repair motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, valves, drives, sensors, and control systems.
- Assist with PLC troubleshooting, equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs and inspections.
- Support equipment reliability and preventative maintenance initiatives.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns, emergency repairs, and overtime or on-call situations as required.
