About The Position
Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and supporting production equipment and molds to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. This role includes performing complete mold changes according to production requirements, along with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and tooling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of manufacturing, maintenance, or machining experience
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
- Experience operating machine shop equipment and reading blueprints
- Strong problem – solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with industrial tools, equipment and maintenance systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Nice To Haves
- technical degree preferred
- Welding experience (TIG/MIG) preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform complete mold changed according to production requirements
- Repair, install, and maintain production machines, molds, and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-related issues
- Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs, during production, as well as scheduled maintenance
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment, molds, and facility systems
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments
- Repair and maintain production molds, including inspection for defects and dimensional accuracy
- Build, repair, and maintain fixtures used in production
- Read and interpret blueprints, equipment and manuals and work orders
- Operate machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, and drill presses
- Use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments to perform maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate maintenance and process documentation
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, defective materials or unusual situations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to meet schedules and minimize downtime
