About The Position

The Maintenance Technician completes general maintenance and repair work at company locations, coordinates and prioritizes work orders and special projects independently with minimal direct supervision, and provides professional customer service to operational staff and management. The role includes preventative maintenance, minor vehicle repairs, and transporting vehicles between facilities or for repair. The technician also responds to on-call emergency maintenance needs at night and on weekends on a rotating basis with the maintenance team.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 2 years of construction, maintenance, or similar experience.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Technician supplies all basic tools used for general maintenance projects.
• Previous experience using large rented equipment such as a Bobcat, trench digger, jackhammer, or cherry picker, as well as basic office equipment.
• Must be able to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC certification.
• Electrical, plumbing, or small motor vehicle certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic maintenance tasks involving plumbing, electrical work, painting, drywall, carpentry, appliance and equipment installation and maintenance, construction, and minor automotive repair.
• Coordinate, prioritize, and complete work orders and special projects independently, effectively, and cost-consciously with minimal direct supervision.
• Provide polite, professional customer service and maintain good working relationships with operational staff and management.
• Respond to on-call emergency maintenance needs at night and on weekends in rotation with the maintenance team.
• Perform preventative maintenance at all locations, including HVAC filters and tablets, septic and water systems, vehicle fluids, and light bulbs.
• Complete minor repairs and troubleshooting of company vehicles.
• Transport vehicles for repairs or use at various facilities.
