About The Position

Quest, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician to complete maintenance and repair work across its locations. The role handles work orders and special projects independently, cost-consciously, and with minimal direct supervision while providing professional customer service to operational staff and management. Duties include general facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, minor vehicle repairs, and transporting vehicles for repair or use at various facilities. The technician also participates in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance needs on nights and weekends. The technician supplies the basic tools used for general maintenance projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 2 years of construction, maintenance, or similar experience.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Able to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Supply all basic tools used for general maintenance projects.
• Previous working experience utilizing large rented equipment, such as a Bobcat, trench digger, jackhammer, or cherry picker, and basic office equipment.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC certification.
• Electrical, plumbing, or small motor vehicle certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, carpentry, appliance and equipment installation and maintenance, construction, minor automotive repair, and other general maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate, prioritize, and complete work orders and special projects independently, effectively, and cost-consciously, with minimal direct supervision.
• Provide polite, professional customer service to maintain good working relationships with operational staff and management.
• Respond to on-call emergency maintenance needs on nights and weekends as part of a rotation with the maintenance team.
• Perform preventative maintenance at all locations, including HVAC filters and tablets, septic and water systems, vehicle fluids, and light bulb replacement.
• Complete minor repairs and troubleshooting of company vehicles.
• Transport vehicles for repairs or use at various facilities.
