Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Facilities Services, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the daily operations of campus facilities through a wide range of maintenance, logistics, and event support functions. This role includes coordinating and executing deliveries, transporting materials and equipment, installing and removing seasonal assets such as window air conditioning units, and supporting campus events through set-up, breakdown, and tent installation. The position requires the ability to perform general maintenance tasks including light carpentry, painting, repairs, and installation of fixtures across a variety of building surfaces. Working closely with the Operations Manager and other campus partners, the Maintenance Technician follows work order assignments, ensures timely completion and reporting, and contributes to an organized and efficient workflow across campus. The role also involves operating tools and equipment, performing preventive maintenance, assisting with snow and ice removal, and adhering to all safety standards and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe and functional campus environment.
