About The Position

CF Industries has many exciting and challenging opportunities at its world class production facility in Yazoo City Mississippi. The central maintenance crew performs duties in the field at various elevations to maintain and repair/replace equipment and facilities in a chemical manufacturing plant.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in heavy equipment operation and certifications may be considered in lieu of degree.
Effective problem-solving skills and analytical thinking skills.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

AA degree or technical certificate preferred.
Experience in welding or pipe fitting highly desirable.
Experience operating 20 ton plus Mobile Hydraulic Cranes preferred.
Experience operating heavy machinery (i.e. backhoe, bulldozer, dump truck, forklifts, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and schematics for installation specifications.
Demonstrate knowledge of proper use of hand tools and operate air impact wrenches in a safe manner.
Perform railroad repairs.
Work inside confined spaces as well as at elevated positions.
Work safely and meet all requirements of the EHS standards at CF.
Work overtime and call outs including nights, weekends and holidays.
Maintain, fabricate, repair and/or replace physical equipment and/or make necessary repairs to machinery and the work area in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment using CF Standards and Specifications and industry best practices.
