About The Position

Provides mechanical and electrical repair of equipment and facilities. This role is responsible for responding to trouble calls, performing equipment repairs, and maintaining the operational readiness of machinery. The technician will troubleshoot complex CNC equipment, manage spare parts inventory, and execute preventive maintenance tasks. Additionally, they will provide guidance to operators on equipment operation and ensure proper handover after repairs.

Requirements

Must have High School diploma or GED.
Commitment to working safely and understand all safety procedures.
Technician responsible for following Lock Out Tag Out procedures while working on equipment.
Must be reliable and dependable.

Nice To Haves

2 or 4 year Technical Degree preferred.
SAP ERP Prior experience Highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Responds to trouble calls and provides equipment repairs.
Repairs mechanical, electrical, programming, automation, robotics, hydraulic and pneumatic concerns.
Troubleshoots complex CNC equipment and repairs in a timely manner.
Maintains inventory of necessary spare parts and engages in emergency part orders.
Performs Preventive Maintenance activities in coordination with the SAP PM application.
Escalates concerns to the Maintenance Manager when repairs cannot be completed in a timely manner.
Provides guidance on normal equipment operation to operators.
Effectively hands off repaired equipment to operations using the Equipment Turnover policy.
Tests equipment thoroughly following repair to ensure that further breakdowns don't occur.
Communicates safety, quality, product issues with Maintenance Manager, Supervisors, and team members across shifts.
Responsible for Manufacturing Readiness of the equipment of a given area.
Utilizes operating and technical manuals to assist in repair when needed.
Notifies Operator and Supervisor when repairs are complete and stays at the machine until proper operation is ensured.
