Fogelman is hiring a certified Maintenance Technician for Cordova Creek Apartments, located in the Cordova area of Memphis. This property is scheduled to transition at the end of May. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC certified, is proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair, strong customer service skills, a team-oriented mindset, reliable, honest, and committed to high-quality work. Requirements

  • Three years of experience in apartment maintenance preferred.
  • HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal).
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred.
  • Proficient in the following areas: plumbing, HVAC, electrical and appliance repair.
  • Proficient in use of computers and online applications.
  • Working knowledge of property systems such as Yardi, Entrata, and HappyCo preferred.
  • Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for completing all service requests as assigned.
  • Responsible for the completion of all make-ready units.
  • Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.
  • Responsible for supplying all personal tools.
  • Responsible for cleaning work area, tools and equipment.
  • Assists in preventive maintenance projects.
  • Escalate unresolved service issues to the Service Director.
  • Participates in "on call" rotation and responds to emergency calls as needed.
  • Responsible for positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers.
  • Be aware of and operate within company safety policies at all times.
  • Weekend work may be required.
  • Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
