Come work for a company that focuses on excellence and be part of the crew that makes it all possible! The Park Grounds Maintenance position will have varying duties on a day-to-day basis. They will be responsible for manual labor tasks, landscaping, site maintenance, and general support of operations on location for the Spokane Valley Parks Department. This position may require the use of hand tools, power tools, and various equipment. Our Maintenance Technicians display strong communication skills when providing customers with product / service information, when working with our customers onsite. Experience is great, but we also train people to do what we love. We will teach you everything you need to know to succeed! You will receive guidance and plenty of support from our talented, super-smart colleagues and leadership team so you can slay at work! Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver's license and have a history of safe driving
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test (THC excluded)
  • At least 21 years old or older (requirement to drive a company vehicle)
  • Committed to safety and use of all the proper PPE the job requires
  • Friendly and dedicated to great customer service
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently and as part of a crew
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills to understand and meet customer needs
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Encourage a positive team atmosphere & willingness to help others
