About The Position

The Maintenance Technician is a key role reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The environment is fast-paced, with scheduled duties as well as routine maintenance. An emphasis on Industrial Electricity is a plus - and something that we're glad to help you build on.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Emphasis on Industrial Electricity is a plus
• Cutting and welding skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
• Able to diagnose mechanical issues on machinery and equipment.
• Able to mechanically repair equipment.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other areas of machinery.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, motors, and control wiring for electronic devices.
• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems for hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Installs, troubleshoots, and repairs automated machinery and equipment such as programmable controllers.
• Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drill presses, and milling machines to repair or fabricate parts, jigs, and fixtures.
