About The Position
Production Castings, Inc. is looking for experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift who know how to troubleshoot equipment, solve problems, and get production back up and running. This role involves working with the maintenance team to support die casting and manufacturing operations by troubleshooting and repairing a wide variety of production equipment. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys figuring out why a machine failed and how to fix it.
Requirements
- Hands-on maintenance experience with the ability to troubleshoot, not just change parts
- Industrial or manufacturing equipment maintenance experience
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with motors, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, and related equipment
- Basic industrial electrical troubleshooting skills
- Welding, fabrication, or machining skills
- Preventive maintenance and equipment repair experience
- Ability to diagnose problems independently and determine the best way to make a repair
Nice To Haves
- Experience in die casting, CNC machining, foundry operations, automotive manufacturing, heavy manufacturing, or other industrial environments
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment when breakdowns occur
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical problems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Repair or fabricate components when needed
- Work with motors, pumps, cylinders, valves, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, and other industrial equipment
- Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements
- Respond to production needs and help minimize equipment downtime
- Read mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals, and equipment documentation
- Help identify recurring equipment problems and develop long-term solutions
