About The Position

Our 318-unit apartment community in Norristown is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Service Technician with at least 2 years of general maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting, takes initiative, and delivers outstanding customer service. Strong HVAC and plumbing experience are essential for success in this role. If you’re skilled, motivated, and committed to keeping our residents’ homes in excellent condition, we want you on our team.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of general maintenance or related trades experience required
- Hands-on experience with HVAC and plumbing systems required
- Experience with appliance repair and general maintenance troubleshooting
- Comfortable using a smartphone, mobile apps, email, and Teams for work orders and communication
- Active, valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle
- Must live within a reasonable distance to support on‑call and emergency response
Nice To Haves
- HVAC / EPA / CFC certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for troubleshooting service issues including, but not limited to, HVAC, general appliances, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
- Focus on high-volume work orders, appliances, HVAC, and plumbing repairs
- Perform general repairs including appliance service and basic carpentry work
- Support apartment make-readies/turns to prepare units for new residents
- Maintain interior and exterior areas in accordance with company standards, compliance requirements, and applicable laws
- Assist with grounds and curb appeal, including general upkeep and seasonal responsibilities
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance service tickets
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
- Communicate clearly and professionally with residents and office staff regarding repairs and updates

- $1,200 Sign-On Bonus (paid after hire)
- Base Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
