We’re looking for an Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our Kansas City, KS team and learn alongside experienced maintenance professionals. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, CNC equipment, or manufacturing maintenance. You’ll receive hands-on experience working with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and manufacturing equipment while supporting the day-to-day operation of our facility.

Requirements

Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn.
Some hands-on experience with tools, machinery, automotive repair, welding, construction, manufacturing, or maintenance — but this is not required.
Basic mechanical knowledge and an interest in learning how industrial equipment works.
The ability to follow instructions, troubleshoot problems, and ask questions when needed.
A dependable, safety-minded approach to your work.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Technical school, trade school, or relevant hands-on training is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing and CNC equipment.
Learn to identify issues involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Assist with equipment maintenance, lubrication, repairs, installations, and general shop upkeep.
Perform basic welding, fabrication, and repairs as you develop your skills.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
