Maintenance Technician Senior
About The Position
This is a Senior Maintenance Technician role with a lead component, focusing on troubleshooting and repairing industrial production equipment. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, supporting installations and upgrades, and mentoring junior technicians. The role involves working with a variety of equipment including motors, conveyors, pumps, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical panels, control systems, CNC machines, robotic welding cells, and automation systems. Experience with PLC-controlled equipment is a plus. The role is full-time, on the 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with overtime as needed. It offers an opportunity to take a lead role without moving into full management, work on diverse systems, and provides stability with growth potential.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Experience working in manufacturing or production environments
- Safety-first mindset (LOTO, OSHA)
Nice To Haves
- PLC or automation experience
- Experience supporting CNC or robotic systems
- Experience mentoring or guiding other technicians
Responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting and repair of industrial production equipment
