We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all facility systems and equipment through effective maintenance practices. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, facilities maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly. The Maintenance Technician will also play a key role in supervising maintenance activities and leading projects as necessary. This position works Monday through Friday 2pm - 12:30am - 1 Saturday a month (rotation with all maintenance techs).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience in welding and fabrication is a plus.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
  • Leadership experience in supervising teams or projects is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on various facility equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and conduct repairs as needed, utilizing tools such as an Ohmmeter.
  • Fabricate parts and components as required to maintain equipment functionality.
  • Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot problems effectively.
  • Supervise maintenance staff during projects, providing leadership and guidance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
