About The Position

Anderson Communities is seeking an experienced Maintenance Carpenter to join our growing Service Crew. You will deliver great resident experiences every day for the purpose of building better communities. This is a full-time position with a great benefits package.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Carpentry experience - STRONGLY DESIRED
• Extensive experience in customer service
• Troubleshooting and repair experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and/or residential appliances
• Must be drug free and maintain a clean appearance
• Must be felony free and have valid driver's license
• Must be OSHA knowledgeable
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
• Must have reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

• Trade School Certificate in related fields or College degree a plus
• Installing doors/repairing door frames
• Repairing windows/siding
• Repairing/replacing/installing decks (Including boards/stairs/handrails/etc)

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable home functionality through preventative maintenance, repair and replacement of assets, equipment and buildings
• Additional focus on Carpentry - Decks/Roofs/Windows/etc.
• Deliver great resident experiences
