About The Position

This role is responsible for writing schematics, electrical inspection procedures, and documentation on electrician tools, safety codes, and regulations. The technician will design and deploy electrical solutions across environments and applications, leveraging significant experience with various electrical systems and projects. They will utilize expertise in electrical cabinet architecture to develop and construct efficient cabinet systems, and implement and monitor controls to ensure the quality of machine and component fabrication and design. The role also involves leading inspection activities for electrical systems, predicting quality inspection trends, and recommending updates to maintain system reliability. Additionally, the technician will oversee the maintenance of all electrical equipment and provide consulting on electrician services in various environments, establishing norms, standards, and guidelines for electrical services to ensure compliance and efficiency. The position requires advanced skills in repairing, maintaining, and diagnosing mechanical and electrical equipment in an industrial setting, applying extensive experience in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals. The technician will utilize knowledge of common drafting tools, procedures, processes, blueprints, and technical drawing specifications, interpreting functional and technical blueprints, structures, technical components, and maintaining/updating technical drawings and specifications throughout the equipment maintenance process. They will translate process flow diagrams and equipment technical drawings, inspect critical equipment to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and designs, and perform routine installation and maintenance tasks onsite according to technical drawings and specifications. The role involves leading and participating in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools, determining customer needs and business priorities, coordinating and executing work assignments, providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved, and modeling and helping others adapt to change or new challenges. The technician will develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, analyzing and applying information from multiple sources, monitoring progress and results, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • 2 years of experience repairing/maintaining/diagnosing mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial setting
  • experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
  • 1 year’s experience working with blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
