About The Position

International Paper is seeking a Maintenance Technician Level 4 for their Mount Carmel Container Plant. This is a full-time, hourly position working a weekend shift from 6 am to 3 pm, totaling 40 hours per week, specifically Thursday through Sunday. The role involves safely maintaining and repairing equipment, troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, performing routine and preventative maintenance, repairing pumps and motors, assisting with equipment installation, maintaining records, operating PIT, Tugger, and Aerial Lift, and communicating effectively while following instructions.

Electrical experience in a high speed industrial manufacturing environment, required
Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints
Extensive knowledge of all electrical components
Basic knowledge of AC and DC drives
Ability to successfully complete a basic maintenance exam, and an electrical based Maintenance exam.

Responsibilities

Safely maintain and repair equipment unsupervised
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems on packaging equipment
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all production line equipment
Repair pumps and motors
Assist in installation of plant equipment
Maintain records
Operate PIT, Tugger and Aerial Lift
