About The Position

The Maintenance Technician Level 4 safely maintains and repairs production equipment independently at International Paper’s Mount Carmel Container Plant. The position works the second shift, Monday through Friday, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., for 40 hours per week, and may require weekend work as needed. The role pays $35.88 per hour. The technician troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems on packaging equipment; performs routine and preventive maintenance; repairs pumps and motors; assists with equipment installation; and maintains records. The technician also operates PIT, tugger, and aerial lift equipment, communicates effectively, and follows instructions. Requirements

Electrical experience in a high-speed industrial manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints.
Extensive knowledge of electrical components.
Basic knowledge of AC and DC drives.
Ability to successfully complete a basic maintenance exam and an electrical-based maintenance exam.
Mechanical aptitude.
Computer literacy.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Self-motivation, adaptability to change, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities
