About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician II at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW) or Hyatt Vacation Club (HVC), you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories, where meaningful moments are made together. The role involves performing mid-level repairs, responding to guest repair requests, conducting preventive maintenance, communicating with guests to resolve issues, and performing general engineering-related inventory duties. You will also participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development. A key aspect of the role is ensuring a positive guest experience by greeting guests, anticipating their needs, and interacting professionally. You will contribute to team goals and always follow company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
  • Valid U.S. Driving License required.
  • Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Performs mid-level repairs as assigned.
  • Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
  • Performs preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Communicates with guests/Owners to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Performs general engineering-related inventory duties.
  • Participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development as applicable.
  • Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
  • Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
  • Contribute to team goals.
  • Always follow company policies and safety procedures.
