About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for efficiently performing necessary maintenance for the apartment community and assisting the Maintenance Supervisor with directing and managing the community’s overall maintenance programs. The role performs a range of repairs and maintenance, completes service requests, responds to emergency calls, supports resident functions, and participates in community preservation and preventive maintenance programs. The position requires apartment maintenance experience, an A/C Certification Type II or Universal, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to work a flexible schedule and be on call.

Requirements

• At least one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• A/C Certification Type II or Universal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and be on call.
• Punctual, dependable, and self-starting.
• Team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform appliance, carpentry, painting, plumbing, A/C, and electrical duties.
• Assist the Service Manager with tasks as required by the needs of the community.
• Ensure service requests are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance repairs.
• Respond to automated service emergency calls in accordance with company policy.
• Assist with resident functions.
• Participate in the ongoing community preservation plan and preventive maintenance program.
