About The Position

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician II to join our TEAM! This is a part-time position with 20 hours per week. The primary objective is to perform a variety of electrical trade functions in the installation, maintenance, repair, and/or distribution of electrical energy. This role involves installing, maintaining, and replacing electronic programmable controllers in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of electrical code.
4 or more years industrial maintenance experience.
2 years industrial electrical experience.
Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in industrial electronics.
Formal PLC training.
Basic PLCs lay out and trouble shoot of analogic/digital signals and network communication.

Responsibilities

Perform basic PLC troubleshooting of analogic/digital signals and network communication.
Inspect and maintain safety devices related to process equipment.
Complete basic hydraulic and pneumatic circuit modifications.
Lead projects and complete them successfully.
Set up basic VFD/DRIVERS parameters and troubleshoot alarms.
Ensure assigned area and satellite shop area are clean and organized.
Provide the supervisor a list of parts to complete tasks.
Prioritize activities for assigned areas (PMs/Work Orders/Inspections).
Draft, request, and validate SOPs for assigned area to guarantee other team members are trained on documentation.
Support the rest of the Maintenance Department during unplanned downtime (call in or phone call).
Respond to radio calls in assigned area.
Be available for remote support or on-site support outside of normal work schedule.
Drive area task completion for reactive repairs and proactive work.
Complete all PM’s in the assigned area.
Identify PMs that need update to improve process.
Suggest and request maintenance personnel skills development.
