About The Position
Arnold Grounds Apartment Management is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician II to join our team at a multifamily community in Temple, Texas. This role is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the property is safe, functional, and well-maintained while delivering excellent service to residents.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily housing
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems (EPA Certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
- Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs independently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in apartment turns, including make-ready duties
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop and storage areas
- Assist with preventive maintenance programs
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed, including after-hours calls
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations
