About The Position

Arnold Grounds Apartment Management is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician II to join our team at a multifamily community in Temple, Texas. This role is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the property is safe, functional, and well-maintained while delivering excellent service to residents.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily housing
Working knowledge of HVAC systems (EPA Certification preferred)
Strong understanding of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work
Ability to diagnose issues and complete repairs independently
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in various weather conditions
Comfortable using hand and power tools

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of HVAC systems (EPA Certification preferred)

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner
Assist in apartment turns, including make-ready duties
Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and systems
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance shop and storage areas
Assist with preventive maintenance programs
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed, including after-hours calls
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations
