About The Position

AMSOIL INC. is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician II to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations at the AMSOIL Center located in Superior, Wisconsin. At AMSOIL, the Maintenance Team plays a critical role in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently. As a Maintenance Technician II, you'll help maximize equipment uptime, support production goals, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that drive business success. From troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems to supporting facility improvements and capital projects, your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver industry-leading products to customers around the world.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Automation, or a related field; equivalent training and experience will also be considered.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience in one or more areas including industrial mechanical, electrical, HVAC, facilities, or related trades.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or high-volume production environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to operate company vehicles.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States (or Canada if applicable) without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems preferred.
  • Welding, fabrication, machining, and industrial electrical experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience using CMMS software such as Limble is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Support production line changeovers and equipment setup.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
  • Maintain and repair production equipment, material handling equipment, and facility systems.
  • Support HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general facility maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Safety, and Quality teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
  • Utilize CMMS software to document maintenance activities and manage work orders.
