Inspects, maintains, repairs, and installs mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic equipment at plant and/or pump stations. This role involves troubleshooting, estimating costs, dismantling and reassembling equipment, and performing routine and preventative maintenance. The technician will also calibrate instruments, perform facility maintenance, and operate vehicles for plant operations. Additional duties may include assisting with inventory, training new personnel, and performing manual labor such as cleaning. The work environment is 100% operations, with 25-35% exposure to outdoor and inclement weather. Travel for training is infrequent (1-2 times per year), and the role may involve rotational 24-hour emergency on-call duty. Potential hazards include fumes, dust, chemicals, noise, rotating machinery, high pressure, extreme temperatures, slippery surfaces, water, and electrical hazards.
