About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician II at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW) and Hyatt Vacation Club (HVC), you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to make memorable vacation memories, where meaningful moments are made together. This role is crucial in ensuring a supportive, friendly, and beautiful work environment where vacation dreams come true for travelers around the world. You will be responsible for performing mid-level repairs, responding to guest requests, conducting preventive maintenance, and communicating effectively with guests and owners to resolve maintenance issues. Additionally, you will handle general engineering-related inventory duties and participate in regular training for safety, technical knowledge, and career development. The role also emphasizes guest experience and company standards, requiring you to welcome and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and interact professionally with colleagues and guests. You will contribute to team goals and always follow company policies and safety procedures. Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50lbs without assistance.
  • Valid U.S. Driving License required.

Responsibilities

  • Performs mid-level repairs as assigned.
  • Responds and attends to guest repair requests.
  • Performs preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.
  • Communicates with guests/Owners to resolve maintenance issues.
