About The Position

Spicers Mill Community is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team to help keep their property safe, functional, and welcoming for residents and staff. This is a part-time role offering flexibility, independence, and the chance to make a real impact every day. The role involves troubleshooting and performing a variety of maintenance and repair duties, assisting with apartment turnovers, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining curb appeal. It's an opportunity to work with a supportive team, solve problems independently, and take pride in improving the community.

Requirements

2+ years of maintenance experience required
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

Trade certifications or specialized training are a plus

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and completing repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems
Responding to work orders efficiently and professionally
Assisting with apartment/unit turnovers
Performing preventative maintenance and property inspections
Maintaining curb appeal, grounds, and common areas
Supporting emergency and on-call maintenance needs as scheduled
Working alongside vendors and assisting less experienced team members when needed

Day Schedule with some nights or weekends: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with an on-call schedule.
