About The Position

Spicers Mill Community is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team to help keep their property safe, functional, and welcoming for residents and staff. This is a part-time role offering flexibility, independence, and the chance to make a real impact every day. The role involves troubleshooting and performing a variety of maintenance and repair duties, assisting with apartment turnovers, performing preventative maintenance, and maintaining curb appeal. It's an opportunity to work with a supportive team, solve problems independently, and take pride in improving the community.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of maintenance experience required
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

  • Trade certifications or specialized training are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and completing repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance systems
  • Responding to work orders efficiently and professionally
  • Assisting with apartment/unit turnovers
  • Performing preventative maintenance and property inspections
  • Maintaining curb appeal, grounds, and common areas
  • Supporting emergency and on-call maintenance needs as scheduled
  • Working alongside vendors and assisting less experienced team members when needed

  • Day Schedule with some nights or weekends: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with an on-call schedule.
