As a Maintenance Technician II, you would be responsible for maintaining guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas in good repair, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property. Your primary focus will be on guest relations and problem resolution. Assignments involve a variety of skills including painting, stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, and ceiling repairs. You will work well with customers and staff members, driving company success through performing tasks to the highest standards. This role involves interacting with guests for problem resolution, basic appliance troubleshooting and repair, basic air-conditioning controls, intermediate skills in drywall, painting/staining, and wall vinyl repairs. You will troubleshoot plumbing fixtures, including drain cleaning, change filters, maintain guestroom and public space equipment, replace caulk, tile/grout, and perform door repairs including locking mechanisms and hinges. Additionally, you will inspect rooms for pest intrusion, replace cosmetic appliance components, replace light bulbs and ballasts, repair closet/drapery tracks, replace furniture, stain furniture, and repair nicks and gouges. You will also replace remote control batteries, unclog toilets and sinks, perform touch-up paint, and glue peeling wallpaper. The role includes executing planned scheduled preventative maintenance, replacing faulty plumbing components, and maintaining accurate functioning of all equipment and tools. Establishing a clear line of communication with engineering leadership, assisting other maintenance staff on special projects, and responding to all guest requests to ensure client satisfaction are key. You will be expected to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be an outstanding teammate. Detailed record keeping in English is required for logs and inspection sheets.
