About The Position

The company is seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Technician II for The Elliott, a 240-unit residential community located in Concord, NC. The Maintenance Technician II role is critical to AL’s success and may include due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, and participation in company-sponsored committees or functions. You are ultimately responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. The role includes a new bonus structure: a $100 stipend for being on-call, on top of overtime, and eligibility for bonuses of up to $250 based on make-ready status and work order completion.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in multi-family housing as a maintenance technician
  • HVAC Certified
  • Electrical & plumbing skills / trouble shooting ability
  • Irrigation knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property
  • Responding to work orders within 24 hours
  • Complete the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing
  • Complete paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked
  • Tracking inventory used
  • Notifying the Maintenance Supervisor about re-ordering needs
