About The Position
Royal Oaks in Duarte, CA, is seeking a per diem Maintenance Technician. Under direct supervision, the Maintenance Technician I performs unskilled maintenance work in the daily and preventive care, repair, and maintenance of building systems and equipment. This role involves performing plumbing, electrical, roofing, flooring, masonry, painting, mechanical, and carpentry work. This entry-level position serves as an apprentice for Maintenance Technicians Level II. As a representative and team member of the Environmental Services Department, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction.
Requirements
- Up to 1 year of experience in building maintenance, construction, or a related field
- Relevant training and experience may be considered in place of direct experience
- Must possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities needed to perform the position successfully
Responsibilities
- Performs unskilled maintenance work in the daily and preventive care, repair, and maintenance of building systems and equipment.
