About The Position

This position may perform a wide range of manual activities including moving equipment, digging, retrieving equipment, standing by for fire safety, and any other work instructed by a supervisor or a journeyman. The role requires the use of a fire extinguisher, climbing onto structures and scaffolding, and using rigging and hoisting devices such as chokers, chain falls, and come-alongs to move equipment/materials into place. The Helper will also conduct preventative maintenance such as lubrication and fixing or repairing worn parts, follow directions from the supervisor, and perform other duties as assigned. The role demands the ability to meet all physical demands, experience using industrial hand and power tools, and reliable transportation with the ability to work 7 days as needed.
