About The Position

The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. Duties include plumbing, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs, and heating and air conditioning system maintenance. This is an in-person, on-site position at the property, scheduled Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a rotating on-call schedule. The role requires a strong customer-service outlook, a proactive and solution-oriented approach, and ownership of assigned work.

Responsibilities

Prioritize strong customer service through personal contact with residents and guests.
Perform routine building maintenance, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation system maintenance.
Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
Diagnose and correct mechanical issues.
Repair machines, equipment, and structures as needed.
Clean the building interior and exterior, as well as machinery and equipment.
Comply with safety and health regulations.
Maintain an inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and equipment, and report needs to the supervisor.
Work with and maintain relationships with contracted vendors.
Respond to emergency maintenance and repair calls.
Be available for on-call work.
Perform other related duties and assignments as needed and assigned.
