About The Position

This position is responsible for overall general maintenance and repair of the facility, including maintenance in the Casino and on grounds. The role works with the Facility Manager to determine appropriate actions and projects. This position ensures the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of guest’s records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines. A neat, well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a maintenance/electrical environment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and plumbing.
  • General carpentry and repair skills.
  • Strong background in troubleshooting building problems.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class III Gaming License.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Maintain a driving record that at least meets the minimum requirements established by Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel vehicle insurance provider.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and/or replace light bulbs, electrical motors, and ballast as needed.
  • Vacuum refrigeration filters and coils on a regular, as-needed basis.
  • Change HVAC filters.
  • Hang promotional signs and banners.
  • Repair minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry problems.
  • Maintain facility equipment.
  • Provide preventative maintenance as instructed.
  • Repair minor problems in restrooms, kitchens, and toilets/urinals.
  • Provide general assistance to all maintenance team members as needed.
  • Act according to the facility disaster plan.
  • Work safely and efficiently, utilizing safe equipment, techniques, and products.
  • Help set up events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Become lift and fork truck certified within 90 days of employment.
