About The Position

The Maintenance Technician I helps keep equipment, machines, and facility systems running smoothly so production can stay on schedule. The role performs routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoots and repairs a range of systems, responds to breakdowns, and supports equipment installation, facility projects, and improvements in equipment performance. The schedule is a third shift consisting of four 10-hour days.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Basic computer skills, including email and ERP systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Own basic hand tools; specialized tools are provided.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work at heights.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with servo motors and drive systems.
• Knowledge of electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Manufacturing or metal stamping experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC issues.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and make repairs quickly.
• Help install and move equipment throughout the facility.
• Assist with scheduling and prioritizing maintenance work.
• Order replacement parts when needed.
• Support building, grounds, and renovation projects.
• Work with production and maintenance teams to solve problems and improve equipment performance.
