About The Position

Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Electrician to help maintain production equipment and facilities. The role ensures electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshoots unscheduled equipment downtime, completes repairs, and performs preventive maintenance in a multi-shift production environment. The technician also supports an optimized production environment using Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.

Requirements

• One or more years of demonstrated experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic applications.
• Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.
• Ability to multitask and identify and execute process improvements as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills to assess product output against specifications.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including frequent walking, standing, reaching, handling materials, and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly.
• Ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, and use hands and fingers to feel and handle materials for extended periods; stoop, squat, crawl, and kneel as needed.
• Ability to talk and hear, and vision sufficient for close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Support an optimized production environment by applying Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Maintain and repair the facility.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
