About The Position

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to support a 350-acre campus on the southeast side of Tucson. The position is primarily stationary, with scheduled cross-training to support the client’s downtown building. The Facilities Management team handles tasks involving exterior and interior areas, as well as critical building systems. The technician performs preventive maintenance, demand repairs, general repairs, and adjustments to building systems, equipment, and fixtures to the satisfaction of tenants and building owners. The role also participates in an on-call, after-hours, and weekend rotation.

Requirements

General maintenance experience operating commercial buildings and equipment.
High school degree or equivalent.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of computer applications.
Excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful attitude when interacting with building occupants.
Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
Ability to lift 100 lbs.
Ability to work from a ladder and work overhead.
Ability to smell smoke and other chemicals and hear changes in equipment sounds.
Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.
Verification of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

A proven track record of excellence.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to make needed adjustments and general repairs.
Experience with Microsoft 365 Software.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building equipment and systems.

Perform general repairs and adjustments to building systems, lighting, and plumbing.
Participate in an on-call, after-hours, and weekend rotation.
