About The Position

The Maintenance Technician I supports safe and reliable plant operations by maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility assets. Under general guidance, this role performs routine preventative maintenance and helps troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues. The position contributes to food safety, equipment reliability, and team success in a food production facility.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Six months of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, or educational equivalent, or certification in maintenance, mechanics, or a related trade.
Willingness to learn and follow safety, food safety, and maintenance procedures.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Welding, fabrication, or conveyor system experience.
Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Work history in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production and facility equipment, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Troubleshoot basic mechanical and electrical issues to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Use hand tools, power tools, and basic precision tools to complete maintenance tasks.
Read and follow work instructions, schematics, manuals, and safety procedures.
Document completed work and equipment conditions using a computerized maintenance system.
Work in a fast-paced, cold, or warm production setting while wearing required PPE and performing physical tasks.
Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.
Support facility food safety, housekeeping, and safety standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
